Hillary Kursh-Gaydos is an accomplished artist, educator, and designer. She earned her B.A. in Fine Art with minors in Creative Writing and Film from Hollins University, followed by a Master’s Degree in Art from the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art. Her educational background and living in Ohio, Virginia, Philadelphia, New Jersey, and Alaska, have provided her with a unique understanding of interior design and cabinetry.
From an early age, Hillary was surrounded by construction and design, watching her father, Brian, build his remodeling company. She remembers coloring on his blueprints with crayons at the kitchen table and listening to him talk to clients as if they were family members. From her father, she has learned the value of hands-on experience, dedication and customer satisfaction. Growing up watching her parents remodel homes, combined with her formal education and appreciation of aesthetics, have allowed Hillary to develop a refined perspective on both art and design.
In addition to designing kitchens and bathrooms, she teaches art courses at local colleges including Lakeland Community College and Cleveland Institute of Art. Outside of work, she can be found painting in her studio with her dogs. Hillary enjoys hiking the local and national parks and spending time with her husband and son.
