Cabinet Warranty

Kitchen & Bath Design warrants its product to the original consumer purchaser to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal residential use for the lifetime of the original purchaser of the cabinetry.  This warranty is non-transferable.

During this warranty period Kitchen & Bath Design will repair or replace, at our discretion, any cabinet or its component which proves to be defective in material and/or workmanship under normal installation, use and service.  This warranty is limited to the replacement of defective parts and does not include services, labor, or transportation charges related to the removal or installation of defective parts.  In addition, this warranty does not include labor or damage related to improper installation, storage, misuse or neglect.

This warranty shall not apply to Kitchen & Bath Design cabinetry or parts that have been subjected to alteration, modification, accident, damage in transit, abnormal use, extreme temperature, moisture levels, or abrasive cleaning chemicals.

This warranty does not apply to products used or installed in conjunction with Kitchen & Bath Design cabinets such as plumbing fixtures, counter tops, or appliances.

All claims for defective products must be submitted in writing to Kitchen & Bath Design from where you purchased this product, detailing the specific problem no later than 90 days after the defect has been known.

Special Considerations

Doors that are warped 1/4” or less must be allowed to hang through two seasons (Ex. Spring to Summer) before a no charge replacement will be considered.  Some doors may warp slightly after installation due to high or low humidity levels in the home.  The door will usually return to a normal flat position after going through the seasonal change.  Please ensure that the door is warped rather than the cabinet being racked or out of square.

Finish deviations must be inspected by an authorized Kitchen & Bath Design representative.  Determination will be made following the inspection whether to repair in the field or return the product to the workshop for refinishing or replacement.  No field repair may be made without approval from Kitchen & Bath Design.

Stain variations: Since no two trees are the same, wood is a unique material with natural variations in grain, texture and color.  Those variations may also cause considerable differences between old samples and new cabinets.

Mitered doors: Mitered doors allow a .012” joint gap 1” from inside bead.  Mitered doors are not warranted against joint separations that occur as a result of high humidity or moisture conditions.  Painted finishes are not recommended on mitered designs.
Some replacement parts are subjected to availability and may differ from those originally supplied as part of our ongoing product development process.

The warranty statements contained in this limited warranty set forth the only express warranties extended by Kitchen & Bath Design for the cabinets.  Kitchen & Bath Design shall not be liable to the property owner for incidental or consequential damages to cabinets.
